Lost Valley Lake Resort began with a dream and vision
in August of 1982 to develop a resort where families can
come together and make memories that will last a
lifetime. When you drive through the
entrance, you realize Lost Valley Lake is a place where
you can get away from all the hustle and bustle of
everyday life, and remember what’s really important…..your
family.
The resort started out with approximately 315 acres
and today encompasses some 537 acres of natural beauty
and gently rolling hills that Missouri is known for.
Imagine taking leisurely strolls along a lighted
concrete walkway by the picturesque 50 plus Acre Lake.
 Fishing is a very popular activity and the resort has
two large lakes, both in excess of 50 acres, and 3 fishing ponds.
All are well stocked several times each year with bass, hybrid sun
fish, crappie, bluegill and catfish. We have a full service
Boathouse on one of the large lakes where you can rent canoes,
sailboats, jon boats, paddlleboats, windsurfs, kayaks or just bring
your own.
 To maintain
the ecological stability of all our lakes, we
only allow electric motors. Other facilities by the lake include two
sandy beaches, roped off swimming areas, raft with slide, beach
umbrellas, several picnic areas and pavilions.

The 22,000 square foot Sports Arena, built in 1986,
with an outdoor swimming pool is a very popular
gathering place. An additional 11,000 square feet was
added in 2005. Inside the arena you can enjoy miniature
golf, a weight room, arcade, adult lounge, basketball &
volleyball courts, shuffleboard courts and Movie Theater
or check out sports equipment from the Activities Office.
Outside this general area, many more outdoor amenities
await you and your family. Some of which
are; horseshoe pits, playground equipment for the kids
and tennis courts.
 Our planned activities throughout the
year are the cornerstone of our great resort. Our
activities range from live bands, talent shows, craft
shows, mud wrestling, Hawaiian Luau, car shows, tractor
pulls, comedy nights and much, much, much, more!
 Another main activity is our Stables. Trail
rides, hayrides, bonfires, shows, and horse camps are available on a
seasonal basis. There are few places such as this, that can provide
the variety of wholesome indoor/outdoor activities for people of all
ages.
 Accommodations vary from Condominiums, RV Rentals, RV, Motor home Sites, Tent Camping, and Teepees. In the fall
of 2005 we also added Villas to our variety of accommodations.
Interspersed throughout the resort camp site & RV areas are modern
bathhouses with restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities for our
owner’s convenience.

 The staff at Lost Valley Lake Resort
are committed to providing the best indoor & outdoor
year round activities program in the
system. We have achieved a perfect 5 star status from Camp Coast to
Coast for over 20 years. In 2004 and 2005, we earned the
prestigious Woodall’s Diamond “W” Award which recognizes
only the top 3% of resorts in the Coast to Coast network
(over 300 total campgrounds). We also received the 2005
National Service Award for "Best Activities" along with
the 2005 Hosting Appreciation Award.
In 2006, we were
blessed with the 5W Facilities and 5W Recreation rating.
This rating is reserved for the top 2% of all parks in
the North American Campground Directory.
