Indoor Rentals

Lower Level of the Lodge - Grotto, Cellar, Library, Patio

  $2500 rental fee and $2500 refundable safety deposit.  MAX CAPACITY OF 200 GUESTS.  Interior lower level  (large room only), includes concession room, Lodge Patio & Stage.  Includes your choice of rectangle or round tables and chairs for up to max capacity.

Gentry Hall, Lodge Lower Level & Fort Wilderness rentals include Friday & Saturday, 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. and Sunday 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.  Excludes when the Lodge & Fort are closed seasonally.

Types of Parties

Room or Facility Rental Contract - Rental fee covers a designated room, pavilion or area on the park that is reserved for you and your guest to use privately plus all guests are allowed to use all resort facilities, within normal usage rules. Owner must be in attendance with guests at all times (knowledge of resort, rules, ID card, etc). This type of contract allows an owner to bring more people on the park than their normal guest limits allow, use park facilities and reserve an area privately. Rooms/areas are individually priced.

Overnight Unit Rental Contract - Units are priced individually based on type of unit. A $2.00 per person/name on guest list (ages 4 years & up) per day (over normal guest limit) will apply. No refunds Children 3 years & under are free. Guests are allowed to use all resort facilities, within normal usage rules. Owner must be in attendance with guests at all times (knowledge of resort, rules, ID card, etc). This type of contract allows an owner to bring more people on the park than their normal guest limits allow and reserves overnight rental units.

Day Use Only Contract - a $10 per person/name on guest list (ages 4 years & up) per day (over normal guest limit) will apply. No refunds. Children 3 years & under are free. Guests are allowed to use all resort facilities, within normal usage rules. Owner must be in attendance with guests at all times (knowledge of resort, rules, ID card, etc). This type of contract allows an owner to bring more people on the park than their normal guest limits allow & use park facilities.

A party request will be required for reserving party areas at Lost Valley Lake Resort. Once your party request has been approved, a contract will be mailed & must be returned within 7 days.

Requests for party areas are taken on a first come, first serve basis, starting on *January 1st by calling the Recreation Office at 573-764-3656. Each ownership number is allowed 2 parties per year. The request must be made by the primary owner (who is in good standing, i.e. loan current, maintenance fees paid, etc) and the primary owner must be on property before any guest will be allowed on the resort and they must stay on property throughout the party. ONLY guests whose names appear on the guest list will be allowed on property, which means the guest list MUST be provided along with contract and all fees. Guest list should be typed/printed and alphabetized. Rental areas are in high demand, especially in the peak months. It is imperative that once you receive your contract in the mail, you return the contract, signed along with fees, deposit, and guest list within 21 days or the party will be considered cancelled and become available for others to rent. NO PARTY IS GUARANTEED UNTIL WE HAVE RECEIVED A SIGNED CONTRACT AND THE PROPER FEES.

Cancellation Policy: Parties cancelled 120 day or more prior to party date will be refunded 100% of the deposit and rental fees. Parties cancelled less than 120 days prior to party date will be refunded 100% of the rental fee, however 100% of the deposit will be forfeited.  Refunds must b claimed/collected within 48 hours of cancellation.

Inclement Weather Policy: Options in the case of inclement weather are: 1) total loss due to inclement weather Renter may be refunded 100% of the Rental Fee & Deposit. 2) Renter may choose an alternate open date for the same location; all fees would be applied to the new date. 3) the party may be moved to an indoor location, if a room is available and the Renter would be responsible for any difference in Rental Fee & Deposits.

Insurance: Any individual, group, company, organization, etc. bringing non-family/friends guests onto the park, MUST have a copy of insurance policy naming Lost Valley Lake Resort as additionally insured for the duration of their stay on the park.

Lost Valley Lake Resort and Staff are not responsible for left, lost, stolen, or damaged personal property. The LVL Owner/Renter assumes complete responsibility for party guests including conduct & injury etc. and agrees to hold harmless Lost Valley Lake Resort's Owners, Staff, Mid-America Developers and Staff for any and all accidents that could occur on the park. The LVL Owner/Renter assumes complete responsibility

Save the Date: *If a request is made prior to January 1st of the current year, a "Save the Date" fee of $100 will apply along with the signing of a "Save the Date" agreement. this will hold the requested date and location prior to January 1st. Then after January 1st, a formal contract will be agreed upon and mailed at which time all fees and deposits will be due. The $100 "Save the Date" fee will be applied to the final rental amount. The "Save the Date" fee of $100 is non refundable. If a new date/location is available and chosen, the fee will then be applied to the new date/location.

Facility Rental Policy & Pricing is subject to change.
As new construction continues on the Resort additional facilities may become available, call the Recreation Office for more information at 573-764-3656.
Parties, meeting, family gatherings, weddings, etc., may be customized to fit your needs! For example, additional seating, decorating, setup/tear down, catering services, party planning services and more may be supplied at additional costs. Call the Rec. Office for help in planning your next function.
All parties/functions are subject to management approval.
Outdoor Area Rentals: Any party bringing more guests on the park than the max capacity for the outdoor facilities must receive management approval, additional fees will apply.

ALL PARTIES MUST RECEIVE MANAGER APPROVAL - NOT ALL PARTIES ARE GUARANTEED, PENIDNG WHAT IS IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE RESORT AND ITS OWNERS.

All resort rules and fees apply. (Example, boat rental, trail rides - all must be set up by the owner. LVL Owner Card must be presented - to set reservations, rent equipment, sign up for events, etc.

*All contract, fees, deposits, guest lists, etc must be on file at least 7 days prior to the event date. If someone arrive at the Guard House who is not already listed on your guest List, they will be not allowed on the park until the Owner is located and permission granted for the Guest to be on the park. if this occurs a $5 per guest fee will be applied and must be paid prior to granting resort access.
